Spanish residency and citizenship in immigration is one of the most important issues after 5 years (provided that no more than six months of one year has been consistently abroad or more than 30 months of the total 60 months should not leave Spain even non-stop) can lead to a passport

However, for certain cases the process of acquiring Spanish citizenship can be shorter. For example, if you are married to a Spaniard (the child of a Spanish parent or mother) or are born on the territory of Spain can lead to direct citizenship. Even if you were born to Spanish parents outside of Spain, you can still have Spanish citizenship. For refugees, this period of citizenship is only 2 years, but it has its problems.
